Women’s Conference 2018

The Annual Women’s Conference will be held

from 2nd-4th February 2018.

“To every thing there is a season,

and a time to every purpose under the heaven”

Ecclesiastes 3:1

For the past 60 years during the season of winter, a community of women of various nationalities living in Japan take a timeout from busy schedules to gather for fellowship, reflection, laughter, joy, friendship, rest, and Sunday worship in the beautiful mountains of Izu Peninsula at the Amagi Sanso Retreat Center.

Changing with the Seasons is the focus of the 2018 conference. Living in Japan, it is a natural part of life to move through four seasons of the year and to celebrate the natural bounty and beauty - sights, sounds, tastes, smells, and experiences that each season has to offer.

Looking at our lives as seasons of change, how can we welcome, trust, and prepare for the inevitable life transitions ahead? What special significance does each season hold in your life journey? Are there seasons ahead that offer hope or concern? How does God speak to us through these seasons of change in our lives?

Children of all ages are welcome at Christ Church!

For more information of Sunday school activities please contact Audrey Brown

Church Flowers and Cleaning

YCC continues to provide flowers, normally for the 1st Sunday of the month, subject to Yamate Sei Ko Kai events and schedule. Contact Noriko Hasegawa if you would donate flowers on a future date.

Since we are a small congregation, YSK do not expect us to join the regular roster for cleaning but we did pledge full support twice a year, at which time please lend your support; many hands make light work and a couple of hours will be much appreciated.

Making Music ~ Praising God!

If you would like to contribute to the music ministry here at Christ Church please send us a message through the contact page. You can sign up to our weekly email that includes the hymns for the coming Sunday. We welcome all instruments, so long as you're prepared to turn up for the practice on Sundays at 9am.

YCC Groups

Christ Church has a low-traffic Yahoo Group mostly used for announcements and discussion of upcoming events. http://groups.yahoo.com/group/ycc/
