SAYONARA

Our Rector, Fr Andrew Dangerfield will be leaving Yokohama to take up a new post with the Mission to Seafarers in the Middle East later this year. Fr. Andrew came to Christ Church in August 2012 and has enjoyed almost six years as our priest. He spoke at Church about his time here and what a fantastic place Christ Church is. His final Sunday at Church will be Sunday 6th May after which he will prepare to move to begin his new assignment in the Red Sea port of Aqaba in August.

There will be an opportunity to say farewell to Father Andrew at a special service of Choral Evensong on Sunday 6th May at 6.00pm followed by a 'bring'n'share' party in the Church hall. We would welcome your help on the day by bringing some food to share and general help with the set-up of the hall.

Sunday School

Children of all ages are welcome at Christ Church!

For more information of Sunday school activities please contact Audrey Brown

Church Flowers and Cleaning

YCC continues to provide flowers, normally for the 1st Sunday of the month, subject to Yamate Sei Ko Kai events and schedule. Contact Noriko Hasegawa if you would donate flowers on a future date.

Since we are a small congregation, YSK do not expect us to join the regular roster for cleaning but we did pledge full support twice a year, at which time please lend your support; many hands make light work and a couple of hours will be much appreciated.

Making Music ~ Praising God!

If you would like to contribute to the music ministry here at Christ Church please send us a message through the contact page. You can sign up to our weekly email that includes the hymns for the coming Sunday. We welcome all instruments, so long as you're prepared to turn up for the practice on Sundays at 9am.
